Prosecutors say they will rest their case Thursday in the trial of a former Rutgers student accused of using a webcam to spy on his roommate's intimate encounter with another man.
The prosecutors say they will call no more than three more witnesses, all to testify about the chain of custody of computers used in the investigation.
A judge said the defense would start presenting its case on Friday.
Defendant Dharun Ravi won't testify until at least Monday, if he takes the stand at all.
Ravi is charged with invasion of privacy, bias intimidation and covering up his actions.
His roommate, Tyler Clementi, committed suicide in September 2010, days after the alleged spying.
