Pregnant Woman Killed in Crash Remembered

Motorcycle enthusiasts hit the road in West Collingswood Heights, New Jersey Sunday to honor a Gloucester County woman killed in a crash.

Twenty-eight-year-old Toni Donato Bolis, who was 9-months pregnant, was killed in a head-on collision June 1. Her unborn son was also killed. Bolis was less than a half-mile from her home.

Family members say the man who allegedly caused the crash may have been using his cell phone at the time.

Riders traveled past the scene of the accident and then by the family home, where Bolis’ husband and daughter were watching, before heading to South Philadelphia.

The bike run was to raise money for Bolis’ 3-year-old daughter and to raise awareness about safe driving.

The accident is still under investigation.
