Black Friday deals are already being offered weeks before the official start of the holiday shopping season. This year, retailers have already started to lure in customers with deep discounts and temporary discounts on some hot items. Here are a few deals we found, ranging from discounts on toys, to major markdowns on luggage and travel.
- Sears will be offering morning sales, a tradition for Black Friday, every Friday and Saturday until Nov. 20. The chain is also planning some two-day sale events during the season. Early deals included a $70 discount on a 40-inch RCA LCD TV that retails for around $570 and $40 women’s boots for $20. Sears had similar promotions last years for holiday items and this year is expending the promotions to two days per week.
- Walmart announced big savings on toys to kick off the pre-holiday season, with $5, $10 and $15 on this year’s must-have toys, available now in all Walmart stores. Walmart’s early savings include some of the anticipated hottest toys that will be on every kid’s wish list this year.
- Kohls.com has a bundle of deeply discounted items, such as the Big One 7 Piece Luggage set- perfect for gift giving or your own holiday travel. The set originally sells for $239.99, but after initial savings and then entering SPEND20SAVE into the discount box on line, you can get the entire set for $83.99.
- Jet Blue is offering discounts on select vacation packages to warmer destinations as part of their Plan To Tan Sale. Packages start at $225 per person and include destinations such as Orlando, Walt Disney World Resort, Punta Cana, Cancun and more. Flights must be booked by November 17.
