Keys were missing but all equipment was still in place

Police in Ridley Park, Pa., are searching for a suspect responsible for stealing a paramedic unit that was stolen from outside Taylor Hospital early Saturday morning.

The paramedic unit disappeared at about 2:45 a.m. and was recovered in Southwest Philadelphia last night, according to police. The keys were missing from the unit but all of the equipment appeared to be in place.

A white male, roughly 5'5" and wearing black shorts, white sneakers, a white tank top and sunglasses, who entered the hospital to ask for a bus schedule, left at about the time the truck disappeared, according to police.

Police say they will review the hospital surveillance video to get more information about the suspect.
