Bensalem Township Police are searching for an elderly man who went missing Sunday.
Authorities responded to the Nottingham section for the report of a missing 79-year-old man. Family members Edwin Kakareka was out for a walk and never returned home. He was last seen walking along Old Street Road by the Inn of the Dove around 12:30 pm.
Kakareka was last seen wearing brown corduroy pants, a green sweater and green windbreaker, black sneakers, and a dark blue or black baseball hat.
Extensive search efforts are being conducted in the area Edwin was last observed, but police say he he may be headed to the area of Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station. Edwin suffers from dementia.
