A 16-year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department was arrested Monday after he allegedly hit his girlfriend.
Officer John Mouzon was arrested after an off-duty altercation with his girlfriend on the 600 block of Harvey Street in Germantown, according to Philadelphia Police.
Mouzon, 37, is assigned to the department’s Narcotics Field Unit, cops said.
He is charged with simple assault and reckless endangerment. Mouzon is on desk duty pending an internal affairs investigation, police said.
