New Jersey State Police made an arrest in the murder of 26-year-old Fairfield Township, N.J., woman Tara Valentin.
Police arrested Anthony Ridgeway, 23, at the Tips Trailer Park where both Ridgeway and Valentin resided. Ridgeway was arrested on an unrelated warrant, but evidence from the crime scene led police to charge Ridgeway with Valentin's murder.
Valentin was found dead in her home at about 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Ridgeway and Valentin were neighbors who lived just 200 feet from one another, but police were not aware of any prior relationship.
Another person who lives there made the discovery, state police said. Authorities would not comment on how the woman died.
