Police Investigate South Philly Tire Slashings

Police are searching for vandals who slashed the tires of cars in South Philadelphia.

On Friday, shortly after 11 p.m., police say a witness heard a loud hissing sound coming from a parked vehicle outside of the 2300 block of Mole Street. Police say the witness then spotted three to four men running from the vehicle southbound.

When police arrived at the scene, they found three vehicles with punctures to their left rear tires. The officers also searched the area for suspects but did not find anyone.
