Police, FBI Hunt North Philadelphia Bank Robber

Suspect considered armed and dangerous

Philadelphia Police and the FBI are asking for the public's help in finding a man who robbed a bank in North Philadelphia Friday afternoon.

Police say the man entered the Wells Fargo Bank branch at 601 West Erie Avenue at approximately 3:30 p.m. Friday and handed the teller a note demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed sum, investigators say the man fled the area.

The suspect is described as a dark-complected Hispanic male who is between 30 and 40 years of age and stands approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket and dark-colored knit ski cap and is considered armed and dangerous.
