The Atlantic City Press reports that a Pennsylvania man who alledgedly stole a dress and struck a police officer has been captured.
Timothy Dowling, 39, took a dress from an Ocean City Boardwalk shop and ran off -- with an officer in pursuit. Dowling jumped into a van and took off, striking an Ocean City Police officer who was on a bicycle.
Police used the van's information to track down Dowling in Haverton. He will be extradited to New Jersey.
He is charged with robbery, aggravated assault, eluding police and resisting arrest.
