    Police have accused Kenneth Stayton of shooting a man in North Philadelphia on Friday, October 15.

    Police arrested Kenneth Stayton on Saturday for the murder of a North Philadelphia resident on 1900 North Warnock Street.

    The crime took place on Friday night when a man was shot twice in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene.

    According to investigators, the victim was the current boyfriend of Stayton’s ex-girlfriend and the two men both have children with her.

    Police say that residents of the North Philadelphia community made several calls to investigators to help lead them to Stayton.

    Stayton, 30, has been charged with murder and several handgun related charges.
