Pickup Truck Crashes Into Chester County Auto Store, Sparks Fire

It happened shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday at 41 South 3rd Street in Oxford, Pa.

Investigators say one woman is injured when her truck crashed into an auto store in Chester County, then sparked a 2-alarm fire.

It happened shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday at 41 South 3rd Street in Oxford, Pa.

Police say the woman lost control of her pickup truck, hit a railroad crossing and then the truck went airborne. The truck ended up smashing into the Goodyear Auto tire and repair store which went up in flames.

The woman was taken to Christiana Hospital. There is no word on her condition at this time.

It took crews about 20 minutes to control the fire.
