Northwest Detectives are investigating a hit and run that left a Philadelphia police officer injured – and officials are saying it was no accident.
The hit and run happened around 2 a.m. on Washington and Musgrave in the East Germantown section of the city.
Police say that an officer was intentionally struck while on foot during a routine traffic stop.
The victim was transported to Einstein Medical Center. His condition has not been released.
