A Philadelphia man has admitted he got two underage girls pregnant in Egypt in what prosecutors called purported Islamic marriages.
Thirty-three-year-old Omar Rashaad Bey also pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court to having sex with a third girl.
Bey will be sentenced in January on three counts of engaging in illicit sexual contact in foreign places.
Prosecutors say one girl gave birth to a child in 2006 when she was 15 years old. They say Bey fathered a second child with the girl when she was 17.
Authorities say Bey entered into an "Islamic marriage" with a 15-year-old Philadelphia girl in 2006 over an Internet video hookup. They traveled together to Egypt where she became pregnant.
Defense attorney Fortunato Perri Jr. says the girls' families permitted the relationships but Bey accepts responsibility for his actions.
