The community has come together on the Web to remember Philadelphia Police Sgt. Timothy Simpson who died in a brutal car crash Monday night.
On Domelights.com, a site dedicated to police, fire and EMT issues users are sending blessings to Simpson.
User I'm Stoked wrote, "Rest in Peace my brother in Blue. The past two and half 3 years have been a nightmare. I am mentally drained right now. I'm lost for words. Be safe everyone."
On NBCPhiladelphia.com user Louise wrote, "I am so sorry for the loss of this police officer."
PoliceOneNews has also posted a story on Simpson asking for those in law enforcement to comment.
A trust fund has been established for Sergeant Simpson's family.
