An 8-year-old girl has been found unharmed after she left a Philadelphia foster home Sunday night and disappeared.
Yazmin Manning was last seen leaving a home at 8 p.m. on the 5200 N. Warnock Street in the city's Logan section.
The girl, who is currently in foster care, had an argument with a 7-year-old child at the home and left, police said. The foster mother was upstairs when the argument happened.
Police put out an alert for Manning early Monday morning asking for the public's help in finding her.
Philadelphia Police Capt. Sekou Kinebrew said the girl was located around 10:30 a.m. Monday.
After leaving the foster home Sunday, Manning went to the home of a friend of her biological father, Kinebrew said. The friend didn't realize the girl ran away until he saw media reports about the search for her, Kinebrew said. The man then called police.
Police are not yet sure how the girl got to the home, which was in Hunting Park.

Manning was taken to the hospital to be evaluated, but police believe she was not harmed.
Child services and police will continue to investigate, Kinebrew said.
