Philadelphia Eagles Long Snapper Jon Dorenbos' Magic Wows on America's Got Talent Advancing Him to Live Shows

A Philadelphia Eagle used a little magic to soar through to the next round on NBC's popular reality show "America's Got Talent."

Jon Dorenbos, the team’s long snapper, performed a card trick routine for judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Ne-Yo Tuesday night and the magic impressed the judges enough to pass him through to the live shows.

Dorenbos' use of a marker and piece of paper wowed Ne-Yo so much, he pushed the show's golden buzzer -- allowing the footballer to bypass several rounds of cuts.

“I’m speechless, man. I’m speechless,” Dorenbos said, when asked about his reaction to the golden buzzer. “You’re the man,” he said to Ne-Yo.

The 35-year-old first performed on the show earlier this summer showcasing similar magic card tricks.

Live shows will begin airing Tuesday, July 26, one day before the team is required to report to training camp.

Dorenbos has performed card tricks for teammates during his time as a Pro Bowl long-snapper. He regularly performs as a motivational speaker and comedy magician in the off-season, according to the Eagles’ website.
