Person of Interest in Main Line Jewelry Heist

Police ask for public's help to solve Radnor Township jewelry theft

Police on the Main Line put out a surveillance image this in week in hopes that they could track down a man called a โ€œperson of interestโ€ in a recent jewelry store break-in.

The burglary happened on April 5 around 3:30 a.m. at Farfan Jewelers on N Wayne Avenue, Radnor Township Police said.

A masked man wearing white earbuds and dark clothing broke into the store by kicking in a section of the front door and then proceeded to smash jewelry cases before making off with an undisclosed amount of jewelry, cops said in a press release.

The robber was possibly on the phone during the theft, cops said.

Early Friday Radnor Police sent a photo of a man who they believe may have seen something during the break-in and possibly was involved in the incident.

โ€œThe subject is seen walking with the suspect just prior to the burglary,โ€ police said in a press release. โ€œAfter the burglary, both subjects were seen running down N Wayne Avenue towards W Lancaster Avenue.โ€

The person of interest is seen in the foreground of the photo above with the suspect in the break-in behind him. The person of interest is described as a man with a dark trimmed beard who was wearing a light-colored jacket with a baseball hat. He appears to be on the phone at the time the photo was captured.

Anyone with information should call the Radnor Police at 610-688-0503 X117.
