Man Shot in the Face in Overbrook

A man is fighting for his life after a shooting in the Overbrook section of the city Wednesday night.

The 20-year-old man was on 65th Street and Lansdowne Avenue at 6 p.m. when an unidentified gunman opened fire before fleeing the scene.

The man was struck once in the face. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he is currently in critical condition.

No arrests have been made and police have not released a description of any suspects.
