A person is dead after being struck and killed by a train, according to SEPTA.
The person was struck around 6:30 a.m. Friday just south of the North Broad Station.
Northbound trains on SEPTA's Lansdale/Doylestown and Manayunk/Norristown Lines were shut down for about an hour. Normal service has resumed.
