Person Struck, Killed by Amtrak Train

A person is dead after officials say he or she was struck by an Amtrak train.

Officials say the victim was trespassing on the tracks around 2:15 p.m. on East Glenolden Avenue in Glenolden, Pa. when he or she was struck by a train passing by.

The striking train was Train 140, which was traveling from Washington to New York. The train was delayed for two hours due to the accident.

Officials have not yet identified the victim.
