One person is dead after being struck by a train in Northeast Philadelphia, according to investigators. Police say the victim was struck by an Amtrak train traveling near Wheatsheaf Lane and Frankford Avenue.
Police have not yet released the victim’s identity.
SEPTA announced normal service has resumed on SEPTA's Trenton Regional Rail Line after earlier delays. SEPTA also says passengers may experience residual delays as full operations are restored.
