Pennsylvania Man Shoots Brothers, Blames “Fit of Rage”: Police

Authorities in eastern Pennsylvania allege that a man told investigators that he was in a "fit of rage" and shot at two brothers, killing one and critically wounding the other.

Twenty-six-year-old Mario Morancy of Temple is charged in Berks County with first- and third-degree murder and aggravated assault in the Sunday shootings in Muhlenberg Township.

Police said Justin Montpeirous was killed and his brother, Jeremy, was reported in critical condition after surgery at Reading Hospital.

Investigators allege that Morancy told detectives that he fired "in a fit of rage" over a previous assault, and was "extremely humiliated" after video of the assault was posted on social media. He later called police to surrender.

Court documents don't list an attorney and a listed number for Morancy was not in service.
