Pennsville Police Seize 100 Bags of Heroin

Two Pennsville, N.J. men were arrested on multiple drug charges Monday after police received a tip about the transfer of large amounts of heroin.

Pennsville Police officers were waiting Monday when a Pennsville man arrived at a home with heroin, investigators tell NBC10.

Officers received information that Jose Sanchez, 40, would be returning from Delaware in a Buick Rendezvous to deliver the illegal drugs to a South Broadway home, according to police.

When Sanchez arrived at the home at 11:10 a.m. he was taken into custody along with Zachary Seager, 20, who was inside the house.

Sanchez and Seager are charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of CDS in a school zone, conspiracy to possess CDS and conspiracy to distribute CDS.

Seager was unable to post a $50,000 bail and is in the Salem County Correctional Facility. Sanchez was released due to health issues.
