Another Penn State Student Falls From Balcony

Police are trying to find out who supplied alcohol at a party where a Penn State student fell from an apartment balcony - the seventh time a similar incident involving a student since October 2012.

The Centre Daily Times reports the 19-year-old student, who was also using drugs, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after falling about 1:45 a.m. Sunday.

Police have obtained a search warrant to gather evidence from the apartment, as well as the results of blood drawn from the student at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

The newspaper reports five other students have fallen from windows or balconies, including Conor MacMannis, who died after falling from a ninth-floor apartment balcony while reportedly using psychedelic drugs in November.

Another student, Andrew Magargle, committed suicide last month by jumping from a parking garage.
