Penn State President to Review Report on School's Response to Sandusky Scandal

The president of Penn State University says he will review the Freeh Report on the school's response to the Jerry Sandusky molestation scandal.

The report has divided the university and its alumni since it was issued more than two years ago.

President Eric Barron says he will conduct what he called "a thorough review" of the report and supporting materials. He said in a statement posted on the university's website that the report's contents have been questioned by some and he didn't want anyone to believe that the university was "hiding something."

The report was produced for the university in 2012 by a team led by former FBI director Louis Freeh. It concluded that high-ranking university leaders concealed key facts about Sandusky's abuse of children to avoid bad publicity.
