Peddler's Village Strawberry Festival Returns

Festival includes pie-eating contests, art displays, and music

Peddler's Village will host its annual Strawberry Festival this weekend, an event which will feature not one, but two pie-eating contests.

The festival has its origins in Peddler's Village's first May Day festival back in 1967. The Strawberry Festival had evolved into being by 1978 and continues to go strong today.

While the pie-eating contests take place Saturday and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. on the Main Green Balcony, visitors who don't feel like gorging themselves (or watching others do the same) can still take in live music, as well as over 45 exhibits of handcrafted artworks.
