Passerby Finds Stabbed Woman on Street



    Passerby Finds Stabbed Woman on Street

    A passerby found a woman’s body on an area street last night and it turns out the woman was killed.

    A person walking along the 600 block of E 14th Street found the body in the street around 7:30 Wednesday night, according to Wilmington (Del.) Police Cpl. Mark Ivey.

    Police officers say that the medical examiner's office determined that the woman, who is believed to be in her early 30s, suffered from stab wounds.

    The woman wasn't identified.

    The investigation into the incident continues.

    This is the 10 homicide in the city this year.
