A paraplegic man was shot and killed right ouside his Wilmington home on Wednesday afternoon.
Ironically, the victim, who neighbros identified as Anthony Smith, was paralyzed by a bullet eight years ago.
"After his accident and the therapy, he was striving to make things right," said Viola Hudson, who described him as well like and "grounded in the community."
Smith, 35, and a second man were shot when an argument broke out around around 3:30 in the afternoon near 29th and Jefferson. The second victim was in critical condition Wednesday night.
