Officials say a female pedestrian is dead after being struck by a Harrisburg police SUV.
Authorities say 36-year-old Shulena Weldon was hit Thursday around 8:20 a.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
State police are investigating because the crash involved local police.
Investigators didn't immediately say if the officer driving the SUV was on-duty or responding to a call.
