Allentown police say a man was beaten unconscious with a small, two-wheeled scooter.
Authorities say the victim was found unconscious on the street around 12:20 a.m. Thursday, and had suffered a head injury. Witnesses told investigators that they saw a man beat him with a scooter.
The Morning Call of Allentown reports he was taken to the hospital, but his condition wasn't immediately known. Police did not immediately announce any arrests.
