Pa Driver Slams Into Wilmington Walgreens

Police say the store has been ruled uninhabitable.

A Walgreens store in the Hockessin area has been ruled uninhabitable after a woman crashed her car into the side of the building.

The News Journal in Wilmington reports that the driver in the Monday night accident was 58-year-old Michele Endricha from Pennsylvania.

Delaware State Police Sgt. Paul Shavack says the woman lost control of her 2004 Mercedes and hit the north side of the store. She was hospitalized with minor injuries.

Inspectors closed the building after inspecting the damage.
