SEPTA Train Delays Saturday

SEPTA trains will be returning to normal schedules after delays early on Saturday.

SEPTA warned that passengers might still experience waits as long as 45 minutes while the system got back up to speed.

Across the system, train lines were experiencing delays: Paoli/Thorndale, Chestnut Hill West, Cynwyd, Fox Chase, Lansdale/Doylestown, Manayunk/Norristown, Trenton, West Trenton, Warminster, and Wilmington/Newark.

SEPTA said in a press release that the delays on their trains were due to problems with AMTRAK.  On Saturday morning, AMTRAK trains from Washington D.C. to New York were moving behind schedule.
