Philly Hit and Run Critically Injures One

A man is in critical condition after being struck by a car in what police say was a hit and run.

The accident happened on the 2500 block of Marshall Street in Philadelphia around 1:35 a.m. on Saturday. 

Witnesses say that a man got into an argument with another man. The man then allegedly got into a white Jeep Grand Cherokee and tried to strike the other man with his vehicle. However, witnesses say that he struck the 31-year-old victim instead. The man then fled the scene.

The victim suffered two broken legs and internal injuries in the accident. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he underwent surgery.

Police describe the hit and run suspect as a black male approximately 30-years of age.
