A Ridley Park man died just after midnight Saturday when his motorcycle clipped a pole.
Pennsylvania State Police said that Phillip Clay Lee, 45, was driving his Yamaha northbound on Interstate 95. Investigators said Lee pulled off at exit 6 for Kerlin Street at Chester City.
However, Lee's vehicle clipped a caution pole, which sent him into earthen embankment separating the off-ramp from the main road. Lee became airborne, and hit a concrete barrier.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by the medical examiner.
