There’s no better way to kick off Mother’s Day weekend than at a toss your cap ceremony next to your daughter. At least that’s the case for Raye Goldsborough.
Raye and her daughter Shiela Goldsborough were chosen by Peirce College, where they’re both enrolled, to partake in the annual toss your cap ceremony Friday at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It’s a celebration of the city’s soon-to-be college graduates.
It was extra special for Raye and her daughter, who will walk across the graduation stage together on June 9 at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Raye is getting her bachelor’s in business administration and Shiela is getting her associate degree in paralegal studies.
