Conshy's Stella Blu to Close, to Undergo ‘Virtual Reincarnation'

Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, restaurant Stella Blu will close its doors this month, and the team behind the long-time eatery are going "ghost."

Stella Blu at 101 Ford Street in West Conshohocken will close on Jan. 27 after 16 years in operation. It opened in September 2001.

Sean Weinberg of Alba in Malvern, and Biga in Bryn Mawr, will open a restaurant called Imbibe Food & Drink in its place, according to a spokeswoman for Stella Blu.

Stella Blu owners Kim Strengari, Marianne Gere and Michael Golden have plans to open a new Stella Blu if they find a suitable location.

In the meantime, the business partners this year will relaunch Stella Blu as a virtual restaurant, also known as "ghost kitchens," which are delivery-only concepts. To read full story, click here.
