Lower Merion to Pay $900K in Ludington Library Contractor Dispute

Lower Merion Township is shelling out another $900,000 for the long-completed Ludington Library, upping the cost of the project to roughly $10.8 million for the suburban Philadelphia municipality and potentially putting another library's redevelopment in jeopardy.

An arbitrator recently ruled on a dispute between the township and the contractors on the project, which completely overhauled the Bryn Mawr library, resulting in the $898,252 payment to the general contractor on the job, according to Main Line Media News.
