An upcoming conference in Philadelphia is bringing a big economic boost to the city along with ideas on affordable housing.
NeighborWorks – a nationwide organization that supports more than 240 nonprofits by way of grants, training and more – will hold its Training Institute at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from Aug. 17-21 to provide training to community developers.
Drawing more than 2,200 attendees, the Training Institute is expected to give the city an $8.5 million boost.
