Ed Snider's Youth Hockey Program Has Plans to Expand

The Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation said it has no plans to slow down any time soon, despite the loss of its namesake founder who died Monday following a two year battle with cancer.

Bill Whitmore, the organization’s co-chairman, said the program currently serves about 3,000 children in Philadelphia and Camden and has plans to double in size over the next several years.
