One Dead After Upper Frederick Double Shooting

Man arrested at scene; investigation ongoing

State police are investigating a double shooting that left one man dead, another wounded, and a third in police custody in Upper Frederick Township Saturday night.

Police responded to a report of gunshot wounds at a residence on Snyder Road shortly after 8 p.m. and found a dead man in the driveway. Investigators later identified the man as 19-year-old Zachary Levin of Barto. Police also found 34-year-old Joshua Levin, also of Barto and suffering from several gunshot wounds. The elder Levin was taken to a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

State police arrested a man at the scene of the shootings. However, that person's name has not yet been released. It is also not clear how the shooter knew the Levins.

An investigation into a potential motive for the shooting is ongoing.
