A police car containing two officers was broadsided by another vehicle around 6:30 this morning at the intersection of Hellerman Street and Brouse Avenue.
One officer was temporarily trapped in the car. Both officers were taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital, where the trapped officer was admitted. His partner was treated and released.
The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to that hospital, although the driver's conditon was not available.
There's no word on possible charges yet, and the accident remains under investigation.
