Not a Runner? The Blue Cross Broad Street Run is Still For You!

Even if running isn't your specialty, there are plenty of ways to get involved in the 2018 Blue Cross Broad Street Run.

You can volunteer to help out on race day (Sunday, May 6). Jobs vary from an information host, refreshment tent, water station, and assisting with the finish line medals. See all the volunteer opportunities here

Of course, you can also cheer on the runners. There will be music, cheerleading, and drill team performances. There are plenty of great viewing spots along the route, with limited bleacher seating available at the finish line.

Here's a list of the best spots to view the race.

Or, bring your kids under 12 to the Philadelphia Navy Yard, the site of the finish line. There will be caricature artists, face painting, inflatables, a petting zoo and balloon artists.

Kids 3-12 years of age will also have the opportunity to compete in their own run. Registration opens at 7 a.m. and is $5 per child. The first 750 registered participants will receive a complimentary gift.
