2 Houses Burn in 2 States

Two fires in two states overnight luckily left no one hurt.

But the blazes left plenty of damage.

An NBC10 viewer captured flames pouring from a two-story row home late Tuesday night fire at N Broad and Somerset Street in North Philadelphia.

Firefighters say that when they arrived they found the house completely engulfed. Five to six people believed to be squatting in the home made it out unscathed, according to firefighters.

The cause of the blaze remained under investigation.

It wasn’t the only overnight fire. Shortly after midnight firefighters were called to a single-story house fire on the 200 block of Laurel Street in Beverly, N.J.

Firefighters said that flames engulfed the home leaving the structure in ruin.

The home appeared to be vacant and luckily no one was hurt.

The cause of the blaze remained under investigation.
