Officials are investigating an apartment fire in Northern Liberties that displaced 14 people.
It happened at an apartment complex on the 600 block of Perth Street around 3:30 a.m. Firefighters were able to control the flames around 3:50 a.m. No one was injured but 11 adults and three children were forced from their homes.
The American Red Cross is currently assisting the displaced residents with food, clothing and shelter. Anyone displaced should go to the Spring Garden Community Center at 715 Brandywine Street. Officials continue to investigate the cause of the blaze.
