No Arrest in Mother, Daughter Murders

The coroner refuses to say what killed the women

The investigation continues in the murders of two women in Lehigh County Friday.

Althea Walbert, 82, and her mentally disabled daughter, Jeanette Walbert, 59, were found dead in their home on Cobblestone Court in Alburtis around 9 a.m.

An autopsy was performed on Saturday morning, however, the Lehigh County Coroner refuses to reveal the cause of death.

ā€Iā€™m not going to give a cause of death because of the circumstances of the investigation,ā€ coroner Scott Grim told the Morning Call. We have two women that were murdered, and we have to keep certain information confidential due to the crime matter.

So far, no arrests have been made in the case.
