911 service in Berks County has been restored following an almost three hour outage Thursday afternoon.
A phone company problem left the county without 911 emergency service. During the outage, officials asked that residents in emergency situations call 610-655-4921.
The number belongs to the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency.
