A cat is recovering in New Jersey after it was wounded by an arrow shot from a crossbow.
Burlington County's Humane Police say the cat was found with an arrow sticking through it on Willow Street in Delanco.
A veterinarian removed the arrow, which police say was used for target practice.
The cat is doing well and is expected to survive. SPCA officials have reunited the cat with its owner.
