Man Robs Philadelphia, Jersey Shore Banks on Back-to-Back Days: FBI

The FBI said they nabbed a bank robber who struck from Philadelphia to Jersey Shore after he allegedly held up the same bank for the second time.

Keith Ney is accused of robbing an Atlantic City bank for the second time in five years. Investigators said Ney robbed the Cape Savings Bank on Thursday morning, said Atlantic City Police.

A woman approached a police officer in the area and told him about the robbery that occurred moments earlier and pointed at Ney, who was running away from the scene.

A K-9 team arrested Ney a short time later.

Authorities said it was then determined that Ney was convicted of robbing the same Pacific Avenue bank in 2010. He was charged federally with that robbery.

Investigators also said Ney fits the description of a man wanted for robbing the Citizens Bank at 1234 Market Street in Center City Philadelphia on Wednesday.

The FBI expected to charge Ney with both recent bank robberies.
