New Jersey Medical Worker Faces Sexual Assault Charges

A New Jersey patient care technician accused of lifting a female patient's gown and improperly touching her has been indicted on sexual assault charges.

NJ.com reports Richard Smith of Princeton was indicted late last week on charges including aggravated sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual contact stemming from two separate incidents.

Prosecutors say he molested a 25-year-old woman in November while she was incapacitated at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.

Smith is also accused of sexually assaulting an incapacitated patient three years ago at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.

It wasn't immediately known if Smith has a lawyer.
